Netherlands · Besloten vennootschap (BV)
Civil-law notary required; online execution is available in qualifying cases. For a foreign founder the notary must confirm acceptable identity, language and POA route.
Who it suits
Founders with a validated product, an ongoing compliance budget and a confirmed lawful route.
When it is unsuitable
Anyone relying on incorporation alone to obtain banking, marketplace access, tax treatment or permission to live/work elsewhere.
Responsibility by step
- You: describe the activity and review the written scope.
- Partner: confirm eligibility, identity route, authority fees and filings.
- You: complete personal verification directly with the authority/partner.
- ITERAQ: coordinate the agreed checklist and status.
- Provider: make its independent bank or marketplace decision.
Documents and identifiers
KVK number, UBO registration and tax/VAT registration as applicable.
Ask the partner for its document checklist. No ID copies, personal codes or bank credentials are collected by ITERAQ.
Ongoing obligations
- Annual financial statements
- Corporation tax
- VAT/payroll when applicable
Banking and payments
A BV needs a business account. Dutch banks check KVK, beneficial ownership and address evidence; additional local-address or residence evidence may be required. Business.gov.nl describes a typical 2–8 week review, not an assured deadline.
Stripe: business country listed; case approval remains separate · 2026-10-23
PayPal: receiving/withdrawal and non-resident acceptance need confirmation
Amazon: verify the actual seller, marketplace and product category
